Wahoo a.k.a Ono is a member of the same family as mackerel and tuna and is most closely related to the King mackerel. Wahoo does not share the same full-flavored taste attributes as mackerel, and alternatively, is mild, sweet and robustly steaky. Our wahoo is sourced out of Hawaii because of the consistent high quality and because of the well-managed, sustainable fisheries there.
